The great thing about riding is that you can take it up at almost anytime of life. Whichever discipline you choose we believe that anyone can learn about the fundamentals of successful riding ,balance and coordination. In some cases the gift may be there, dormant and waiting to be discovered.

Riding is a sport and an art. There's a lot more to it than just sitting on a horse and steering it around. To learn to ride really well, you need a few key attributes?

Although you don't have to be a trained athlete, you do need to be relatively physically fit.

You need dedication, which means you're willing to devote time and to pay for some riding lessons.

You need compassion for horses; a combative attitude won't get you far.

You need to understand the horse or at least be interested in learning about them.

A horse is instinctive, but doesn't always just react . He uses his brain. You need to know that when you approach a horse, you're entering his territory.

Riding means learning to work in sync with the horse, to handle these variable conditions and responses, and to convince the horse to do what you want with some consistency. You work in harmony with a powerful, unique thinking animal.

Our riding programs are tailor made for each student. We carefully take age, size, and previous riding experience into consideration. You will learn basic horse care skills and horsemanship, which includes participating in fitting and caring for tack, leading on the halter, stable management and care.
